KATIE CONTI & BRENDAN QUINN AUGUST 17, 2013 FROM KATIE: When Brendan and I first got engaged, we knew we wanted to have our wedding outdoors. After searching for a vendor, we realized nothing would be better than having our wedding at my mom’s house. The spectacular views made the choice an easy one. We wanted the vibe for our wedding to match the stunning surround- ings, so we went with a “country soiree” theme that was simple yet elegant. All of the details we added were homemade DIY projects, like the heart garland cut out of 1950s Reader’s Digest issues and our Mad Lib-inspired RSVP cards, which were a big hit with our guests! One of my favourite details was all the gorgeous flowers: not only did my mom grow and arrange the flowers in the planters that lined the cer- emony aisle, but the flowers in my bouquet came straight out of her garden, which was very special. The arrangements were spectacular and really added to the casual country feel we were after. The whole day was so special! We were so happy to see people enjoying them- selves and appreciating the hard work we put into the little details. FROM KATIE: When Brendan and I first got engaged, we knew we

wanted to have our wedding outdoors. After searching for a vendor,

we realized nothing would be better than having our wedding at my

mom’s house. The spectacular views made the choice an easy one.

We wanted the vibe for our wedding to match the stunning surround-

ings, so we went with a “country soiree” theme that was simple yet

elegant. All of the details we added were homemade DIY projects, like

the heart garland cut out of 1950s Reader’s Digest issues and our Mad

Lib-inspired RSVP cards, which were a big hit with our guests! One

of my favourite details was all the gorgeous flowers: not only did my

mom grow and arrange the flowers in the planters that lined the cer-

emony aisle, but the flowers in my bouquet came straight out of her

garden, which was very special. The arrangements were spectacular

and really added to the casual country feel we were after. The whole

day was so special! We were so happy to see people enjoying them-

selves and appreciating the hard work we put into the little details.
