About The Older Person’s Service
(TOPS)
TOPS is a day service for elderly people
with learning disabilities who live in the
borough of Greenwich. They may have
health needs like diabetes, mental
health, epilepsy and dementia.
They may also have problems moving
parts of their body and sensory
problems. These are:
hearing
sight
smell
touch
taste.
What happens at TOPS
Service users have a choice of doing
various activities. These include:
gentle massage
art therapy
cookery
crafts
bingo
remembering their past.
There is also a garden with raised
beds which is looked after by service
users and staff.
It is important that each service user
has their own programme of activities
to meet their own needs. They may
also attend the memory clinic.
TOPS helps its service users to
contact health and social services.
The TOPS team
The team is made up of:
a day service manager
