![Page 3: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)

on us?
![Page 4: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
The Answer..
YES!
Pop culture has been greatly influencing the masses through its readily available forms of mass media for generations.
![Page 5: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/5.jpg)
Yes its true todays, pop culture has been taken over by the GREEN revolution.
But Pop culture is nothing more that a form of MASS MEDIA.
![Page 6: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
And pop culture affects more than your Little
sister..
![Page 7: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/7.jpg)
Pop Culture filters into..
Schools Politic
s
Religious groups
![Page 8: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
So, simply put, Mass Media (pop culture) is
EVERYWHERE.
As communication students, we couldn’t happier about that. Mass Media is our bread and butter.
![Page 9: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
The fact that pop culture today is giving us a healthier planet and life style is just an added plus!
![Page 10: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
But just as pop culture can be used for good..
It can just as easily be used for evil..
![Page 11: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Criticisms of the green revolution and pop culture
Green Revolution is unsustainable
New ideals will be the end low income farmers
activist groups against non-environmentalists causing problems
Do they really care about the environment? Or is it just a moral tool used to gain media and political support
Is the green revolution really going to make any difference in the end.
When it comes to pop culture this too shall pass..
![Page 12: Topic top 5 pop culture and the Environment](https://reader037.vdocuments.mx/reader037/viewer/2022110309/55853b52d8b42a5e018b47d2/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
So yes, we are all on the green revolution pop culture band wagon.. But to be honest..
Is that really such a bad thing?
