The second you were born, you started yourstory and each new year has presented youwith a chance to create a new chapter. So, instriding through the doorway on the first day ofschool, you did just that. You turned on thelight, you opened the door and you becameresponsible for the greatness that is being aBenson bunny.
So now that you're great, what will you be next? Will you be strong? Intelligent? Charming?Fast? Or will you be different?
The incredible thing about walking into Benson,is that the possible answers to that question arelimitless. These sections are created with thehelp of the school. You have a chance toremember quotes from friends, opinions onclasses, and even the moments that are sotypically high school that they seem to go inslow motion. It is here that you form the idea ofwhat you want to be.
Because at Benson there are no labels, norestrictions. Here you can be anything, atanytime and find that all goals are within reach.
You can be successful. You can be a graduate. You can, and you will.
And in the end when you walk across the stageand recieve your diploma, you will be morethan simply, you.
You will be proud. You will be accomplished.
You will be a bunny.
And you will be Benson High.

NOA JACOBS(11)"I think about how Iwant to quit, but Idon't because it keepsme in shape."
Keep Going Motivating yourself to keep going is probablyone of the hardest things to do. Cross countryrunners really have to do that on a daily basis. "I have my good days and I have my bad dayswhen I'm running," said Moneeka Robinson (12)."It's just great how people can run that long of adistance without stopping. You have to be a toughperson." You have to be able to tell yourself and yourbody that you can make it through and that yourbody can make it.
You must BE mentally tough.

No Music: Most people run with music in just to keep them motivated andrunning, but the difference between people that are exercising and crosscountry runners is that cross country runners is that the runners are trying tomake a certain time and they aren't just trying to go the distance. "I just thinkabout making it," said one of the runners on Benson's cross country teamthat listens to music while they run. Trey Kowalski (12). Photo by ZachMiller
The Aftermath: " I feel great after I get done running because I actuallyfinished a race knowing the difficulty and the fact that I didn't come inlast." said Moneeka Robinson (12). { }Mighty Bunnies>>Be a Bunny
What will YOU finally become?
You could be sensational, lyrical, and musical,Like the choirs of Benson.
You could be tough, driven, and motivated,Like the sports teams that went to state.
You could be creative, imaginative, and fearless,Like the artists who put their whole self into their work. You could be disciplined, dedicated, and distinguished,
Like the members of Benson's JROTC.You could be sincere, sophisticated, and sassy,Like the talented thespians who live on stage.
You could be anything that you want to be.
You could be anything because that's what your experiencehere has prepared you for. Through any ups and downs we canperservere. After a win we bask in the triumph that we rightfullyearned. When we're stressed we can rely on our friends here to
lift us up.
Being a Bunny does more than prepare us to take the nextstep in our lives, it gives us a place and people to come backto. Being a Bunny will never leave you, even after you leave
Benson, no matter what you become.
We will always BE the Benson Bunnies.
