The GRS-1 receiver is a dual-frequency, GPS + GLONASS L1, L2 receiver and hand-held controller built to be the most advanced, compact, and portable receiver for the GIS and surveying market.

• There multiple ways to do this. The common method is to establish an internet connection prior to opening TopSURV using TPS Connection Manager utility.

• Check Cellular Power first, then check Data Connection. Once the GRS-1 is connected to the Internet, launch TopSURV data collection software.

• From the TopSURV main menu, go to CONFIG / SURVEY to see a listing of Survey Styles. Tap the triple dot button to the right of GPS+ Config.

• Select the Configuration template of My Network RTK and tap Edit.

• You can rename or use default name of My Network RTK. Either way, ensure Type is Network RTK and Corrections is VRS.

• Declare a rover Antenna Type of PG-A1.• The Post Process method is an optional check box dependant on the type

• If you are trying to make a connection to a GRS-1 using either Topcon Receiver Utility (TRU) or PC-CDU, make sure that you power the GPS receiver on first.

• To turn the GPS Receiver Power on / off, use TPS Connection Manager from the Windows Mobile desktop (bottom right corner).

• Without the external PG-A1 antenna, the onboard antenna of the GRS-1 receiver is L1 signal only. Only while using an external PG-A1 antenna will you be able to track and use more than L1 single frequency.
