The 2017 revision of API RP14F willimpose a 20% ampacity derating onnon-potted power loops, which meansconductor sizing for existing non pottedpower loops may not be adequate. The new revision also states serviceloops must be “uniformly twisted.”Therefore, straight-pulled power loopswill not be recommended for use.

Service loops are completed at our 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. Bundles are inserted in hoses and fully potted (non-potted also available).
