One of the things I came up with for this week was a song about our community to sing to the kids.

It’s a song about the things we all love about Mackenzie, It’s an easy follow-along song, with little hand gestures and sung in the beat to “I am a Pizza” by Charlotte Diamond.

Tour the World Week

Suitcase Race!

I came up with a game for the “Tour the World” week, to get kids to work in teams and learn to pack a suitcase in a hurry!

Kids are split up into three teams and there will be a suitcase and a set of clothes for each.

The objective of the game is to get your whole team through a set of clothes before the others. Each kid will take turns running to the suitcase that’s a couple meters in front of their group and putting on the set of clothes inside, run back to their group, take off the clothes, then the next kid will put them on, run to the suitcase and take them off, then run back and tag the next kid. The last kid must pack the suitcase neatly and close it. First group finished wins.
