Established in 1972, Knight Oil Tools’ Rental Tool Services

service line continues to expand and diversify through

acquisitions of new inventory and product lines to meet the

ever-changing needs of our customers. We supply rental

equipment and services for drilling, completion and well

control ranging from use on your smallest workover project

to your deepest deepwater drilling operation. Knight Oil

Tools’ strategically located facilities provide customers with

access to inventory and delivery in virtually every oil and

gas producing region. Adding dimension to our services

is our international expansion that will allow fast and

dependable deliveries whenever and wherever in the world

custromers’ needs may be.

Rental Tool Services’ computerized inventory system allows

for full accountability and tracking of our equipment

worldwide. With Knight Oil Tools’ unique Quality Assurance

Protection Plan and KIP® patent-pending inspection

RENTAL TOOL SERVICES

Fishing tools and services are always ready, whenever and wherever you need them.

In 1999, Fishing Services became the second service line of

Knight Oil Tools—established to provide the fishing sector

the same standards of tools and services the rental sector

had grown accustomed to with Knight Oil Tools.

Fishing Services provides a full line of cased-hole,

open-hole and thru-tubing tools run by experienced

supervisors—proven to be among the best in the business.

Knight Oil Tools manufactures technically advanced mills

designed to take care of the toughest milling operations in

a minimal amount of time; as well as casing cutters that

use the same technology for performance in the field that

is second-to-none.

Fishing Services’ Excalibur™ single-trip whipstock service

combines time-proven technology with tools that are

consistently produced by Knight Manufacturing, resulting

in outstanding performance. With the addition of power

swivels, triplex pumps, reverse packages and foam units,

Fishing Services maintains a commitment to provide

customers with the best tools, equipment and service

available in the industry.

F ISHING SERVICES

Knight Manufacturing LLC, a service line of Knight Oil

Tools and the producer of the Hub City line of products,

offers a wide range of fabrication, repair and services for

the oil field. Products produced by Knight Manufacturing

include accumulators, pipe and thread protector cleaning

machines, portable lathe refacing machines, hydrostatic

testers and pipe conveyor systems.

In addition, Knight Manufacturing fabricates many

tools used by Knight Oil Tools for use in the drilling

and workover sectors, including surface equipment,

downhole tools, whipstocks, subs, pipe baskets and

various fishing tools.

Knight Manufacturing’s strengths include a team of

well-trained machine specialists, extensive product

capabilities and a commitment to service. The Knight

Manufacturing service line continues to establish itself

as the hub for providing innovative tools and solutions

to the oil and gas industry.

MANUFACTURING

Since 1996, Tri*Drill Services LLC, a service line of

Knight Oil Tools, has been a leading provider of non-

destructive inspection and “casing friendly” hardbanding

for drill pipe, tubing, bottomhole assembly components

and heavy lift and handling equipment. Along with

inspection and hardbanding, Knight Oil Tools’ Tri*Drill

Services service line also offers pipe maintenance and

storage. Inspection units are mobile for both land

and offshore operations while hardbanding units are

available for land, rig or yard locations.

All NDT inspections are conducted by Level I and Level II

specialists certified according to ASNT guidelines and are

tested by an independent source, IPIA or a certified ASNT

NDT Level III Instructor and follow DS-1 specifications.

Tri*Drill Services also has an ASNT Level III certified

inspector on staff.

As a recognized leader in safety training and preparedness,

the Tri*Drill Services service line has implemented an

in-house training program to prepare employees to

safely handle every situation from tool preparation to

environmental issues. Tri*Drill Services maintains the

highest level of AMSE Section 9 safety certification.

Tri*Drill Services’ Broussard, La. facility is the first

Fearnley Procter NS-1™ and NS-2™ certified inspection

and hardbanding facility in the U.S.

Knight Oil Tools’ Advanced Safety and Training Management LLC

service line specializes in building custom quality, safety and

training programs, safety inspections and comprehensive

consulting services to meet customers’ needs in the oilfield,

communications/tower, utility, construction, food and

manufacturing industries.

Advanced Safety’s facilities feature a multi-media lecture/

class rooms with indoor and outdoor hands-on teaching and

testing capabilities as well as towers for vertical climbing

and rescue training. Quality, safety and training programs

can also be offered at customer facilities, resulting in less

downtime and increased cost-effectiveness.

The Advanced Safety service line offers classes in CPR and

First Aid to help employees meet OSHA requirements for a

safe and healthy workplace that is free of occupational

hazards. Crane operator safety courses are designed to

provide education to crane operators in safe practices and

procedures in all industries. Classes are also offered in

Confined Space Entry to teach employees to identify and

establish proper entry permit procedures, recognize and

control hazards, ventilation, atmospheric monitoring, personal

protective equipment and non-entry rescue to comply with

OSHA requirements. Electrical Safety, Fall Protection, Forklift

Safety, Hazcom, H2S and other courses are also taught

through hands-on and classroom teaching methods.

QHSE TRAINING & CONSULTING
