Prior to being transplanted to
the Philadelphia area in ‘98, I
was in the Princeton area, where
I went to college, taught in col-
lege, and freelanced or worked
on staff at design studios, ad
agencies, and in marketing
departments.

production designer for

Bank (now Chase).
Currently self-employed as a
freelance graphic designer and
art director, I’m open to new
opportunities.

g Art Director Managing Editor Inc, Jenkintown, PA (2007 – 2008)
Senior creative in Marketing department of Adobe portfolio firm, designing and producing literature, advertising, direct mail, packaging, tradeshow ads and presentations. Member of writer/art director team.
• Completed total re-design of all sales literature and software packaging.
• Learned K4, industry-standard publishing workflow & collaboration software. Reported to CEO.
g Senior Art Director Imtek Direct Marketing, Bridgeport, NJ (2006 – 2007)
Provided concept, design, prepress and final file output for digital, offset and web printing presses. Created graphic design for all corporate documents: re-design of the primary company logo, including 3 new divisions; initial web design for 2 web sites; creation of trade show elements; design and copy writing for magazine ads; and direct mail for a dozen clients. Reported to President.
• Partnered with IT Architect to realize implementation of radical new direct marketing tool GPS Mail, opening new revenue stream for Imtek nationwide.
g Art Director EP Henry Corporation, Woodbury, NJ (2002 – 2005)
First designer to hold this position with this firm. Regularly advised senior management regarding brand and identity design, and new graphics production technologies. Collaborated with multiple departments on virtually all projects. Managed vendors for print, photography, graphic design, illustration, signs, trade shows and the Internet. Reported to Director of Marketing.
• Introduced “3D-rendered” product illustrations, an industry first, allowing firm to produce marketing materials before manufacturing went online, avoiding a year’s worth of lost orders waiting on photography of installations.
• Researched and recruited a printer to reprint a massive catalog job, resulting in on-time delivery to all 100+ dealers (and 100’s of installers), avoiding days or weeks of lost orders at the beginning of the buying season.
