Tongwynlais Community Survey Results - 2013-14
Contents
Introduction
This survey was carried out by a group of residents, brought together by a shared
interest in the land adjacent to Tongwynlais Village Hall, which has been proposed for
residential development.
Questionnaires were developed by the group, which currently has over 40 members,
including representatives from the school, village hall committee and community
council. County councillors also attend meetings and are fully supportive.
In October 2013, printed questionnaires were hand delivered to every house in
Tongwynlais (approx. 800), and also available to complete digitally, via
tongwynlais.com. A two week deadline was given for residents to complete the
questionnaire.
Results were presented at the community event ‘Knowing you knowing Ton’ in March
2014, where an ‘asset mapping’ and ‘future village hall’ activities took place.
