Witty and inviting, Moz-Art à la Haydn connects two of the greatest composers of the Classical Era: Franz Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Based on surviving fragments of Mozart’s lost “pantomime music”, with a special nod to one of Haydn’s most famous symphonies, this piece is sure to delight! We open with Haydn’s Symphony No. 85 “La Reine” or “The Queen” and conclude with Mozart’s dazzling Symphony No. 36, written in just four days on a trip to the Austrian city of Linz.

According to Gramaphone Magazine, “Joaquín Rodri-go’s Concierto de Aranjuez is arguably one of the most popular concertos of all time, thanks in no small measure to the extraordinary beauty of its central Adagio.” Written for classical guitar and orchestra, this piece provides beautiful contrast to Mozart’s famous Eine kleine Nachtmusik and his dramatic and tragic Symphony No. 25.
