TOL Provides Exceptional Access to the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and Canada Trucks departing TOL

can reach Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, parts of Pennsylvania and Kentucky and even reach Chicago within 5 hours.

Our location at the crossroads of I-75 and I80/90 makes Toledo accessible from all directions.

TOL’s Market Characteristics

Located in the heart of the Great Lakes Region, Northwest Ohio has built a strong manufacturing, industrial and agricultural base.

Access to the Great Lakes, combined with the region’s international air cargo hub, and one of the leading rail centers in the country makes Northwest Ohio a global platform for doing business anywhere in the world.

In 2009, 37 Fortune 500 Firms were located in Northwest Ohio, with Dana Corporation, Owens Corning and Owens-Illinois headquartered in Toledo. The Andersons, Libby Owens Ford, HCR Manor Care and Pilkington are some of the other major publicly held corporations headquartered in Toledo.

TOL as one of Three Remaining U.S. Air Cargo Hubs

Toledo is the North American hub for the dedicated freighter network (domestic & international) of Schenker/BAX Global (DB Schenker). BAX Global runs a hub –and – spoke network from Toledo supported by 20 strong fleet of freighter aircraft and a regional trucking network.

Unlike the major integrators (FedEx & UPS) who generate revenue from small package express, Schenker specializes in heavy freight for industrial shippers.

The Toledo sorting facility is 279,000 s.f., including a 50 acre ramp, 2.6 miles of conveyor sorting, 900+ employees, and annual volume of 350-500 million pounds.

Page 8: Toledo Express Air Freight Presentation

TOL’s Domestic and International Network BAX Global freighter network consists of 727-200Fs operated for BAX by Capital

Cargo and DC-8Fs operated by Air Transport International, both subsidiaries of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG).

Other freighter operations include weekly 747-400F flights operated jointly for DB Schenker and Emirates on a turnaround basis from Dubai and Frankfurt by Atlas Air and a weekly service for Qantas that stops in TOL for cargo prior to departure to Australia.

The BAX Forwarder Network provides service to forwarders in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico utilizing BAX Global’s integrated air and ground network

Schenker is number two in global air freight, number 3 in global sea freight and number six in global contract logistics.

Weekly scheduled round trip flight linking Toledo with Dubai and Frankfurt on shared Emerites / Schenker flight

Neutral Cargo Handlers offer domestic and international freight handling not associated with a particular airline or forwarder

Page 9: Toledo Express Air Freight Presentation

TOL: Low Cost, No Congestion, High Efficiency

Air Cargo Security: Congested Gateways will need to follow new cargo screening requirements while dedicated air cargo carriers may bypass these requirements making TOL more efficient for cargo throughput.

Worldwide air freight capacity will become increasingly dependent on dedicated carriers as passenger market softens.

The BAX truck network can support the increased role of ground transport in domestic air cargo supply chains keeping costs low.

BAX has 4 million pounds of sorting capacity each day at their TOL facility

A truck leaving Toledo can reach points in the Chicago market area in the same as a Truck leaving Central Chicago could in heavy traffic

Regional Transportation Assets

Highway: Toledo is located at the cross-roads of I-75 and I80/90. The I-80 Ohio Turnpike has the distinction as the only major transcontinental corridor from California to New Jersey. It accesses the airport just north of the terminal building and can be reached in 8 minutes day or night. Major cities accessible from TOL are: Detroit (60 miles), Chicago (225 miles), Cincinnati (200 miles), Columbus (140 miles),

Cleveland (115 miles), and Indianapolis (250 miles). Atlanta (700 miles), New York (600 miles).

Rail: Major intermodal yards for CSX (National Gateway) and NS (Airline Junction) are located within 50 miles of TOL. CN terminates in North Toledo.

Marine: the Port of Toledo offers 15 terminals and a full service shipyard. The Seaport handles over 12 million tons and 700 vessels each year and is the largest land mass seaport on the Great Lakes.

Room to Grow

South Development Area contains 75 acres in initial offering capable of supporting nearly one million s.f. of development.

Site is adjacent to 78 acre (non exclusive) air cargo ramp Infrastructure improvements are ongoing

Page 16: Toledo Express Air Freight Presentation

Opportunities

Utilize TOL as a low-cost distribution point for the Midwest for freighter aircraft carrying international air freight from Asia

Develop facilities for major international forwarders near TOL Opportunity for overseas carriers to link into BAX’s trucking

network Opportunity for additional neutral operators at TOL utilizing their

own networks or BAX network while protecting the identity of their customers

Opportunity to construct additional transportation and logistics infrastructure on south side of airport to support air cargo operations.
