When is the best time to list my acreage or country home? As an acreage specialist I get this question all the time. Or I get the statement from sellers that their intention is to wait until the trees, grass and landscaping “greens up” which usually means May or even June .

The facts from data compiled for the last 5 years shows a much different picture. The #1 month for acreage/country home properties going under contract is APRIL! Further review shows there are less properties on the market in April than in May or June. This means acreages that go under contract in April sell faster and for a better price.

March is not too soon to take the first steps in planning a Spring sale of your Acreage/Country Home!

Brandon Area — up to $350,000 an Out Building is a Big plus

South West of Sioux Falls — 1 to 3 acres with home and building up to $250,000
