security, belonging, value, significance, etc. • To co-create, with God, human life• Mirrors intimate relationship within the Trinity• A picture of God’s relationship with us

Misconceptions about sex• Molestation, exploitation, prostitution, rape• Age of onset and amount of sexual activity• Media influence• Pornography• STD’s• Unwed mothers, Abortion• Divorce• Sexual addictions

Jesus in Matthew 5:27-30• "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not

commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Wanna know God’s Will• It is God's will that you should be sanctified:

that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in passionate lust like the heathen, who do not know God; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-6

What to do about sexuality:• Personally?–Feed my soul. Worship Him!–Renew my mind–Receive healing for wounds–Prepare for battle!

• You love God and find Him more desirable• You are experiencing your needs met by God.• You trust He knows and has the best for you. • You desire to obey and please Him.• You love His commandments as life. • You fear and are repulsed by sexual slavery.• You respect the consequences of immorality.• You love others and don’t want to use them.• You want to love and serve others appropriately.• You have a higher purpose to fulfill.

What about when I fail?• Repent and run back to God• Confess and be cleansed of you sin• CSI the process in prayer and with

discipleship buddy to discover why and how you fell. • Better prepared for next time.
