3. Lighten the Load—Get the junk out of thetrunk and the stuff outof your car, with theexception of emer-gency items such as aspare tire, flares and afirst-aid kit. Extraitems weigh the vehi-cle down and causean increase in gasusage.
4. Tire Checks—According to the Car
Care Council, around2 billion gallons of gasa year could be savedif the tires on everyAmerican’s car wereproperly inflated.Optimal tire pressurefor your vehicle is list-ed in the owner’smanual. Tires that arenot properly inflatedadd rolling resistancethat makes the enginework harder to movethe vehicle. 5. Gas Caps and Fill-up—Check your vehi-cle’s gas cap.Approximately 17 per-cent of vehicles on theroad have loose, dam-aged or missing gascaps, causing 147 mil-lion gallons of gas tovaporize every year.

After being down in Des Moines 30 dayslonger than they needed, I think the only law that passed was thatAuctioneers now need to have a real estate broker help them sell realestate.
