Today’s Bible story is about Jesus and how He began to tell people about God and how they can live for Him. Jesus knew He had a lot of work to do, so He went to find some helpers. Let’s pretend we’re using binoculars to look for people, just like Jesus looked for some helpers! (Lead your toddler in pretending to look through binoculars.) As Jesus walked along the seashore, He saw some fishermen named Peter, Andrew, James, and John. Let me see you pretend like you’re fishing! (Lead your toddler in pretending to fish.) Jesus called to them, “Come. Follow me. I will make you fishers of people.” This means they would help Jesus look for people to share God’s love with. Right away, the fishermen left their boats and followed Jesus. They knew Jesus is a special leader, and they left everything to follow Him. If you can follow Jesus just like the fishermen did, say, “I can follow Jesus!” as loud as you can! (Lead your toddler in saying “I can follow Jesus!”) ©2005 Mission City Press. Today’s Bible story is about Jesus and how He began to tell people about God and how they

can live for Him. Jesus knew He had a lot of work to do, so He went to find some helpers.

Let’s pretend we’re using binoculars to look for people, just like Jesus looked for some helpers!

(Lead your toddler in pretending to look through binoculars.)

As Jesus walked along the seashore, He saw some fishermen named Peter, Andrew, James, and John. Let me see you pretend like you’re

fishing! (Lead your toddler in pretending to fish.)

Jesus called to them, “Come. Follow me. I will make you fishers of people.” This means they

would help Jesus look for people to share God’s love with.

Right away, the fishermen left their boats and followed Jesus. They knew Jesus is a special

leader, and they left everything to follow Him.

If you can follow Jesus just like the fishermen did, say, “I can follow Jesus!” as loud as you can!

(Lead your toddler in saying “I can follow Jesus!”)
