Greetings in Jesus Name from the beautiful state of Maine and the mis-sion field that the God of Heaven called us to in 1994. As I write this letter, I rejoice in the bountiful blessings of our loving heav-enly Father. We have seen the Lord do great and mighty things over the last several months. At the home church, here in Sanford, we have seen many saved since our last report. I had the privilege last Sunday of baptizing four precious souls after the service. Two of those were saved in the morning ser-vice and desired to obey the Lord in believers baptism that night. The other two had been saved a few weeks prior. To God be the glory that He is still in the soul saving business! Our church is currently in a fall program that has a football theme. For example, every gospel tract that is handed out, the team gets 5 yards. It is an old fash-ioned competition of the girls against the boys. Suffice it to say the boys are whupping the girls currently. Through this program we have seen several of our people personally lead others to Christ and hand out a lot of gospel leaf-lets. Just last week our church together handed out 684 of these. How thrilling to see our local church actively in-volved in getting the gospel out. Our Christmas MinistryOur Christmas Ministry … Bring the Gospel news and great joy through the power of a simple gift. What goes into a shoebox is fun, but what comes out is eternal. As children receive gift-filled shoe-boxes they receive the Gospel. You can have a role in reaching millions with God’s love. Pick up a shoe box and the “How to fill a shoebox pamphlet” (located on table in the vestibule) and just follow the directions. Shoeboxes will be distributed on Nov. 16th. So, in the meantime just place the unsealed, filled and labeled shoe boxes in the old sanc-tuary.
