Toad Startup Cataloging your databases Toad installs and uses its own DB2 client environment. The databases you will be accessing in Toad need to be cataloged within that Toad DB2 environment. When you first attempt to create a DB2 connection and Toad realizes that you do not have any databases cataloged, a dialog will open to help you import the database catalog from other DB2 environments you may have installed on your system.
