The MyGolf School Ambassador program aims to support and recognise teachers for their commitment in promoting and delivering MyGolf School programs within their local school community.

MYGOLF SCHOOLS PROGRAM

The MyGolf Schools Program is a teacher/coach delivered five-session in school program designed to introduce students to the basic skills of golf. The program has been aligned to the national ACARA curriculum and lesson plans have been designed to ensure specific learning outcomes are met.

Sporting Schools Funding

An Australian Government initiative, Sporting Schools offers schools access to funding to deliver NSO endorsed sports programs. Golf Australia and the PGA offers registered schools the opportunity to partake in the MyGolf Sporting Program.

Schools can apply for funding by going to www.sportaus.gov.au/schools/golf. Schools can utilise their own coaches (School Ambassadors) who can run the programs themselves and limit the cost significantly.

Schools receive:

School Equipment Kits

Schools can also purchase their very own MyGolf School equipment kits via the MyGolf Shop online that has kits suitable for various ages and equips schools to run programs anywhere.

Types of kits include:

• Lower Primary (Grades 3-4)

• Upper Primary (5-6)

• Secondary (7-10)

Coaching Resource Portal

Teachers who become MyGolf Schools Ambassadors will have the opportunity to access all ACARA curriculum aligned coaching resource manuals, game cards, instructional videos and coaching tips through our interactive portal. This is an easy to use tool for both inside of the classroom and on the playground or golf course, to assist with the delivery of the program. *Access to the portal is restricted to registered school ambassadors only. After downloading the app from the App Store, enter the email you provided when registering as a School Ambassador.

MYGOLF SCHOOLS RESOURCES
