Private Photo Sharing Network
To set up sharing, select Photo Sharing from the navigation panel.
On the Sharing photos screen select Set up sharing.
If you have not already done so, Fotobounce will prompt you to register your email
address. This is needed to enable you to invite people to join your private Bouncer
network. Enter your email address and click Continue.
You will receive a confirmation email from Fotobounce that will include a confirmation
code.
Enter the confirmation code from the email in the field provided and click Finish.
You will then be asked to create your Bouncer profile by entering a display name,
selecting a profile picture from your photo library, and by entering a description for your
shared library.
Fotobounce will then ask you for your gender and age. This information is optional and is
not required to continue, although it does help us develop new features. Click Continue to
proceed to the next step.
You are given the option to share all of your photos or to only share albums that you
select. When you have made your selection click Continue.
After you have successfully set up sharing you are able to start inviting people to your
Bouncer network. Invite friends by selecting Send Bounce Requests to Your Friends from
the setup completion screen or by selecting Invite Friends from the navigation panel.
Fotobounce can retrieve contacts from your Gmail and Yahoo accounts or you can enter
the email addresses manually. Invitations can be sent using the default message or you
can enter a custom message. You also have the option to select Toss in Some Photos.
This allows you to send photos with the invite. Once you are ready, click Send.
You can view your Bouncers by clicking on the View Bouncers button or by clicking on
Bouncers in the navigation panel.
The Bouncers pane consists of three tabs; Bouncers, Requests, and Ignored.
The Bouncers tab displays all of your Bouncers. Once they have confirmed, their profile
names and pictures, as well as their online status will be visible.
Fotobounce will notify you with a pop-up when you receive a request. You will be asked to
confirm or ignore the request or decide later. Click Confirm to add them to your Bouncer
Network. If you choose to decide later you can see the request again by going to the
Request tab or by clicking on Bounce requests in the info bar.
You can create groups for your Bouncers. This will give you more control over what you
are sharing. Select Bouncers and click Put in a Bouncer Group from the edit pane. You
will be given the option to add the Bouncer to a new group or existing group by entering
the name and hitting the Enter key.
Once you create a group you can you can change its default sharing setting by selecting
the group and clicking on the Change button located beneath Sharing in the edit pane.
The sharing option are: share with bouncers; share with bouncers except selected group;
do not share; and do not share except selected group.
Sharing can be set up on an album-by-album basis by selecting an album and changing
the settings under Sharing in the edit pane. The options are: use default settings; share
with bouncers; share with bouncers except selected group; do not share; and do not
share except selected group. Make you selection then click on the Save button.
To view a Bouncer’s shared photos, click Bouncers from the navigation panel and double-
click on their thumbnail image.
The People and Albums tabs are now visible: The People tab displays all of the people
tagged in the Bouncer’s shared albums. Double-clicking a person’s thumbnail will display
any photos in which the person has been tagged.

album’s thumbnail will display all of the photos contained within the album and can be
viewed full-screen by simply double-clicking the thumbnail.

You can download photos or entire albums from your Bouncer to your computer by
highlighting them and selecting Download from the Edit pane. This will launch a window
prompting you to select a destination in Fotobounce. You can choose to create a new
album or add to an existing album. Once the album is selected, a file transfer window will
launch.
