April 27, 2020 Dear Friends in Christ, It was great to see some new faces on ZOOM Worship this last Sunday. I think we are getting the hang of it! All of us who are a part of Trinity Church are grateful for everyone who has been diligent about sending your pledges of financial support through the mail. This is the way we prefer to receive them. The other option is to just press the donate button on the front page of our website. That will take you to our PayPal account and you can make your contributions that way. (A donate feature will be part of our new website as well.) Though it will still be a work in progress, our new website will be up and ready for us and all the world to see at some point in May. Once it is up and running, we will continue to refine the text and add pictures. Thank you especially to Mark Richards and Barb Bodengraven for moving this project along and bringing it to fruition. If you are out and about (on your way to the grocery store perhaps) and drive by Trinity, you will notice that our grounds are looking more and more beautiful. The reseeded lawn in the front of the church is now a brilliant, early spring green. The azaleas are just starting to bloom. April 27, 2020

Dear Friends in Christ,

It was great to see some new faces on ZOOM Worship this last Sunday.

(A donate feature will be part of our new website as well.)

Though it will still be a work in progress, our new website will be up and ready for us and all the world to see at some point in May.

Andy has been cleaning up the grounds and putting mulch down around many of the bushes. The glory of our grounds shines forth.

Bible Study will resume this week. I am changing the day to Wednesday. The time, 10 am will remain the same. (Please email Trinity Administrator Barb Bodengraven at [email protected] if you did not receive an invitation to the Bible Study Zoom meeting via a separate email sent out to the entire parish on Monday, April 27th.) We are going to look at the books of Isaiah and Jeremiah and read some of the texts that deal with the theme of exile. There should be some interesting parallels with what we are all experiencing these days.

I know that since we are unable to be out and about socializing with other human beings, many of us are especially grateful for our pets. Here is a prayer that we can pray that comes from St Margaret’s Church in Little Rock, Arkansas:

Lord God, you have made all living things, and you are even more wonderful than the things you have made. We thank you for giving us our pets who are our friends and who give us so much joy in life. We cherish the pets we have now, and we remember the pets we have loved and lost. May we always be reminded of the joy they have given to us. May we likewise, realize that as our pets trust us to take care of them, so we should trust you to take care of us, and in our taking care of them we share in your love for all your creatures. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

It would be great if you could email pictures of your pets to [email protected]. I will make the pictures into a slideshow so the rest of us can enjoy them as well.

Faithfully yours,Rebecca
