To Our Dear Owners,

It’s always exciting to look forward to the upcoming months and the next season, but we need to think back, just for a few minutes, to the wonderful Summer season just ending and the vacation memories that are held so dear.

What a fabulous Summer! For the most part, it was hot and sunny – just perfect beach weather. It was fun to see our “sun worshipers,” along with your family and friends, children and grandchildren. We love to see the excitement on the kids’ faces… it somehow brings us back to our own childhood vacations. What carefree days!

The Fall and Winter seasons have a different charm and we welcome our Owners who enjoy a little slower pace. The cooler weather gets everyone outdoors, whether to take a stroll on the beach, get in a round of golf, or to head over to “The Walk” for outlet shopping at its finest! It’s time to treat yourself…or to find the perfect holiday gifts. The deals are great and everyone returns with lots of shopping bags! Top off the perfect day with dinner at your favorite restaurant.

Keep in touch over the next few months…a few nights at the shore in the “other” season might be just what you need to recharge your batteries.

Until we see you again, the staff and I send you our warmest wishes.

Phyllis SacchettiGeneral ManagerFantaSea Resorts, La Sammana

On Saturday, August, 27, 2011, while under a Governor-issued mandatory evacuation, FantaSea Resorts La Sammana provided 35 guest rooms to the City of Brigantine to accommodate Police and Fire Department staff and emergency personnel.

Anticipating a possible direct hit by Hurricane Irene to impact the City, the Police & Fire Chiefs wanted their police and fire fighters to be near the station house and requested a handful of rooms at La Sammana. This quickly escalated to “all available rooms.”

Given the rare opportunity to repay the City of Brigantine for the services and support they provide day after day, year after year, the rooms wereprovided complimentary.

Ellie Derrickson, Acting City Manager, invited Phyllis Sacchetti, La Sammana General Manager, to attend the City Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 5:30 PM, in City Council Chambers, to accept a Proclamation to recognize FantaSea Resorts La Sammana for the services provided.
