To me, Korea is a country in Asia with cultural riches and i fl li i li d ld l i iinfluences.   I  live in Australia and would love to visit Korea ‐ but Korea has already visited me. 

To me, Korea is Korean food   I love 김치kimchi It is perfect for eating withkimchi.  It is perfect for  eating with Korean barbecue.     

I  cook bulgogi for my family and make other foods like Japchae.

To me, Korea is Hangeul !  I challenged myself to read Hangeul after a Korean friend told me how King Sejong designed theafter a Korean friend told me how  King Sejong designed the writing system – only 24 letters! 

It might look complicated but I learnt to read with the help of Professor Oh I am also learning Korean from the wonderfulProfessor Oh.   I am also  learning Korean from the wonderful team at Talk to me in Korean. Soon I will be ready to visit Korea! Korea!

To me, Korea means K‐pop.    Professor Oh was talking about the group Girls Generation so I searched YouTubethe group Girls Generation so I searched YouTube.

To me, Korea means a unique film industry – from historical dramas to the charming My Sassy Girl I love watching Koreandramas to the charming My Sassy Girl. I love watching Korean movies and I am looking forward to the next Korean film festival here in August in Sydney.here in August in Sydney.

To me  Korea now means my next holiday destination – I want  to y ysee the country the  experience the culture  meet my Korean friends and explore this fascinating country.
