Dear Young Adult,
You are receiving this because our current Holy Trinity records indicate that you are in the age range of 20-40
years old. We need your help! We would like to invite you to consider participating in the upcoming ALPHA
Course that will take place at Partners II Pizza (Aberdeen Location) beginning on Wednesday, May 10. There
are only 70 spots available and anyone of any age (18+) is welcome to participate, but we are specifically
looking for at least 30 people who are in the age range of 20-40 years old to be in a pilot group. We would
like for you to take the course and give us your honest feedback after each session: e.g. Did you find the
session helpful, relevant, engaging, etc.? How can we improve the experience for other young adults? What
worked? What didn’t work? You do not have to commit to the entire course to participate in the pilot group.
Just come when you can. In addition to yourself, you are welcome to invite your spouse, a friend or a group
of friends to come along with you. If you are interested in helping us out this way, please follow the

What is Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian Faith in an informal, open and friendly environment. We meet for a meal, listen to a talk and then have some discussion in small groups.
Who is it for? Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian Faith. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you. We don’t assume any background knowledge or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome
How does it work? Each session of Alpha includes food, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. There are a total of eleven sessions with the option of a day away in the middle. You don’t have to come for the whole course - just come to the 1st session and see what you think. At any point, if you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. There’s no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
How much is it? There’s no charge to do Alpha though we do accept donations to help cover food costs.

Why should I be convinced a man really rose from the dead? If Jesus going to the cross was all about love, why do I see so much hatred and judgment in churches? Do you think this story could change my life? Is it ok for me to question what you’re saying?
