Electron Metal produces the highest quality metal cabinets for Server, Network, Zone 4 Seismic, Broadcast and Colocation applications. Our cabinets are recom-mended by industries such as Information Technology, Telecommunications, Broadcast, Security and OEM.

Electron cabinets offer engineered modular construction, flexibility and readiness for system expansion. Many cabinet sizes are available with width options from 22” to 40”, depth options from 25” to 54” and height options from 40” to 96”. An extensive range of accessories for cable management, hardware and power distribution is available.

With an extra-wide 30” frame, it has the room required to manage high cable loads while enabling proper airflow. SLIDING CONTAINMENT DOORS AND CLEAR POLYCARBONATE TOPSReduce hot spots and increase cooling efficiencies with Electron’s sliding containment doors and clear polycarbonate tops. These products help to contain the conditioned air that cooling systems send into the hot or cold aisles.

Our products ensure that air flows into the air intakes of the rack-mounted IT devices to keep the cold air in and the hot air out. And, alternatively, they contain hot air so precision air conditioning units can keep hot air in that aisle and the cold air out.

Today’s data centers consume more energy to meet rising demand, and efficiency is becoming a greater focus to reduce the energy demands of cooling. Experts recommend air containment rooms or systems to help isolate hot air from cold air to dramatically increase cooling efficiencies.

Electron Metal offers containment solutions for both hot air and cold air systems. We assist in the design and deployment of containment and cooling solutions that can handle up to 25kw of cooling per cabinet. Our solutions can be customized for new builds, or retrofit applications for any brand of cabinet.

Hot air chimneys help remove hot exhaust from servers more efficiently. This capability and simple technology makes the chimney approach an attractive and cost effective option to offer effective cooling solutions. Electron Metal offers passive and fan powered chimney solutions and can also offer retrofit solutions for existing cabinets in some cases.

All of Electron Metal’s Series 4000 cabinets come standard with tops with chimney cut outs, to enable chimneys to be deployed immediately, or added if heat loads increase. We also offer active chimneys designed to handle excessive heat loads that exceed a passive system’s capabilities.

Wall Mount Relay RacksThe Wall Mount relay rack is great for situations where heavy equipment is required to be wall mounted. This rack will support more weight and more equipment than a standard wall mount bracket. It has similar construction to standard relay racks and includes brackets to fix the frame to a wall. Holes are tapped 10-32 at standard E.I.A. spacing on the front only.

Wall Mount brackets – Adjustable DepthElectron Metal offers a wide variety of wall mount brackets. These are used when smaller equipment is required to be mounted on a wall, such as patch panels and other small equipment. Great for use in small office networking rooms. Metered – Vertical or horizontal power strip that monitors and reports (typically on LED screen) the electrical load or power utilization of the unit or any branch circuit

Monitored – Vertical or horizontal power strip that allows the user to securely view the status of each circuit on their networkor via the Internet. (Typically done via an SNMP Card)

Switched – Vertical or horizontal PDU with the same ability as the Monitored unit but with the added ability to control

Managed – Vertical or horizontal PDU with all the same ability as the Monitored and Switched units plus the ability to meter each individual receptacle
