To impart the training based on computer based training CBT and ICT Information and
communication Technology
Training must be imparted 60 % with the help of AutoCAD to compete in the global
market
This course offers the student a theoretical basis for the development of drafting skills
necessary to work in drafting, design, engineering, and technical professions. Emphasisis placed on terminology and procedures used in multiview projection, auxiliary and
sectional views, intersections and developments, dimensioning, and pictorial drawing.
Students are encouraged to develop an awareness of proper drafting techniques, the
geometry of technical drawing, and new technological advancements in the field of
drafting. Computer aided drafting (CAD) is introduced.
Training on AutoCAD
• Completely self-contained resource-Requires no drafting tools.
o Gives students all the direction they need to begin drafting in an easily
understandable, clearly laid out, and direct manner.
• Complies with all versions of AutoCAD-Including up to 2011.o Uses keyboard commands vs. pull-down menus, allowing users to focus on drafting
skills and AutoCAD basics without being tied to a specific release of AutoCAD.
• “Prompt/Response” format.
o Takes students step-by-step through each new AutoCAD command or activity.
• All of the guidelines and gridded paper necessary to complete assignments are
included.o Gives students everything they need in one place so they won't spend time
searching for other resources or materials.
• Step-by-step methodologies.
o Illustrates for students the different ways processes can be done to attain the same
goal.
• A hierarchy of drawings plus a relations to parts list.
• List of objectives at the beginning of each chapter.
o Summarizes the areas that the student should be proficient in upon completion of
the chapter.
• Practice exercises in each chapter.o Gives students ample opportunity to practice what they have just learned.
• End-of chapter review questions.o Encourages students to thoroughly review and practice the topics covered,
increasing their chances of truly mastering the material presented.
• Numerous figures and illustrations.
o Assists students in following along and makes the text a useful study tool for review

and practice.
• Graduated assignments build in level of difficulty.
o Allows students to build on previously-learned concepts and allows them to build
confidence in their drafting skills.

Features:Drafting technology teach subjects including manual and computer aided drafting, 2D and 3D techniques, and
residential and commercial drafting.
With your degree, you'll be eligible for a position as a drafter, detailer, or CAD operator in industries including
aerospace, architecture, public utilities, and government.
Students develop mechanical and computer-aided drafting and design skills, including preparing assembly anddetail drawings, operating CADD software, and producing solid model drawings.
Course help everyone from novice AutoCad users to those wishing to complete a comprehensive CAD Industry
Expert program.
Students learn to use g-code programming to create instructions for CNC machinery, and to process CAD
drawings for computer aided manufacturing.
The SolidWorks and SolidModeling Designer program introduces the student with 2D CAD experience to 3D
solid modeling. Using applications including AutoDesk Inventor and SolidWorks, students learn to create parts
and other assemblies.
Course is intended to familiarize the user with the skills necessary to use CAD as an effective drafting and
design tool for mechanical, architectural, electrical, and other drafting and design professionals.
course introduces the student to basic theory and design techniques used in industrial drafting with emphasis on
the development of the drafting skills necessary for producing drawings used by industry for the design, production, and promotion of various products. Computer aided drafting (CAD) is included.
course is designed to acquaint the student with various types of graphic solutions to engineering and drafting
problems. Special attention is given to orthographic projection as it relates to solving graphical space problems.
Extensive problem-solving involving points, lines, and planes, and aids to students' visualization process for
advanced drafting, engineering design, and computer graphics applications are covered.

course details the techniques used in the preparation of pictorial technical material for illustration and
publication. Advanced drawing techniques in axonometric, oblique, and perspectives are covered, as well as
basic shading methods used in illustration, including line shading, stipple shading, and cast shadows. CADsoftware is used extensively to demonstrate how this medium is used for enhancing illustrations.
course provides continued study of advanced CAD technologies, giving students a complete hands-on
experience with three dimensional photorealistic and presentation graphics.
