From 26th November on all weekends leading up to Christmas, parking is FREE in Rosewarne

Car Parks. The free period starts at 4pm on Friday and runs until 9am on Monday morning, so

free all weekend from 26th November to 25th December. Over 200 spaces available and no

ticket required. BID Camborne has funded this FREE Parking offer.

For popping in to pick up shopping there is FREE 30 minutes on-street parking from 9am – 6pm

on many streets throughout Camborne (shown in yellow on the map). No parking restrictions

outside these hours. Parking is also available in other private car parks. Parking charges

may apply.

2016 lights display brightens up our town. Our stunning 30 foot Christmas Tree lights up

Commercial Square and festivities are getting underway on Saturday 26th November with

our Christmas Lights Switch on Day. Don’t’ forget to take your selfie seated with Santa in

Cross Street.

BID Camborne is thrilled to be celebrating the launch of Christmas in Camborne with our

great community rugby club. We thank CVC Haulage for supporting Camborne by putting up

the Christmas tree. We also thank also thank all the voluntary organisations and businesses

that put on activities to make the festive season special for everyone that comes to Camborne.

BID Camborne is Camborne Business Improvement District, which is the businesses of

A message from Alan Truscott, Chairman CRFUCamborne is a proud town with considerable history. It is a great place to be educated, to work and

to live in. We should be all proud to be part of our wonderful community. Likewise Camborne Rugby

Club is proud to represent the whole of the Camborne Community on the rugby field. Our most

recent tag line we have used is “MORE THAN JUST A RUGBY CLUB” and this is exactly what we are

trying to achieve.

Over recent years we have developed excellent relationships with a number of businesses in

Camborne the local community: BID Camborne, Camborne Chamber of Commerce and the Town

Council with whom we share considerable mutual respect and friendship. Our facilities at our

Crane Park clubhouse are superb and we are capable of providing a venue for a variety of functions

and events.

The essence of Camborne Rugby Club is a community club for all and we are delighted to represent a

special town and a special community.

club improvements and provide facilities for community

use. To date the main effort has been to update and

improve the clubhouse at 'Crane Park' but attention will

now be given to improve facilities at the ‘The Rec’ to

provide the Town with a ‘stadium for Camborne’.
