We Must be ONE!

Unity Under Attack• First “Church Fuss” was over

benevolence• Acts 6:1-7• This had potential to destroy the

church• Look at the response and the result

– Get people together– Get everyone involved in the solution– Resulted in God’s glory– Resulted in growth

Unity Exemplified• At least Twice we see the early

church united– Acts 2:45 – “and they sold their

possessions and goods, and parted them to all, according to as any man had need.”

– Acts 4:32 – “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one of them said that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.”

Unity Exemplified• Did you see it? Did you catch the

answer?– The believers were of one heart– They were of one soul– No THINGS were as important as the

Lord they served.
