With Sethness Caramel Color, consistent quality is standard operating procedure. That’s why all of our North American production is centralized in Clinton, Iowa at the world’s largest and most advanced Caramel Color production facility. Close to the source of our primary raw material, this plant also houses our R&D laboratories.
To serve our customers all over the world with a reliable supply of Caramel Color, Sethness also operates plants in Ahmedabad, India and Merville, France. These joint ventures with Sayaji Industries LTD and Roquette-Frères S.A., respectfully allow Sethness to provide more extensive services to the Indian, European and African markets.
In 1880, a 25 year old self-educated immigrant named Charles O. Sethness
started a flavor and syrup business in Chicago, Illinois. And from this
humble beginning grew the world’s most respected manufacturer of
