A true placebo is well known as the gold standard for highest quality research. Atrue placebo is not given to the control group in a vaccine safety study; it isconsidered 'unethical' to not give “an established e�ective intervention” to thecontrol group! (February, 2008, International Ethical Guidelines forEpidemiological Studies Prepared by the Council for International organizations ofMedical Sciences in collaboration with WHO)

As an example, a new vaccine is compared with an old vaccine, or with a dose ofaluminum.

The scienti�c name for these are 'comparators,' not placebos.

However, vaccine package inserts continue to say that the vaccine performedfavorably in comparison with the placebo, implying that the study used a salineinjection, not another vaccine, a comparator. 

As deep as we know corruption is in government, so is it deep in medicine. If theregulatory bodies of medicine subscribe to twisted thinking like this, science is nolonger science. It has been destroyed.
