For the intormation and guidance of all concerned. quoted hAreunder is

"CSC Memorandum Circular No. 17 doted December 8, 2008enjoined government agencies 10 fully disserninate RA No. 948:'and its IRR, including its provisions against fixers. The CSC and IheOMS also initiated last monlrl Ihe 'Tix the Fixers Campaigrl" 10underscore government's firrn resolve ogainsl fixing activities.
To sustain interest and ensure wider participation of thepublic. all government agencies are directed to adopl Ihe CSCAnli-Fixer Campaign tarpaulin banner and Fix the Fixer callingcard, which provide the following telephone hollines of Ihe Officeof the Ombudsman: 0926-6994703. (02)9274102 ond (02)9272404;and the CSC: TextCSC at 0917-8398272 and (02)9320111, whereincidents of fixing should be reported.

In consonance with the above circular, all Judges of the first ond second
level cour Is are hereby enjoined to post the on ti-lixer cornpaign posters
(inslead ot banner) in conspicuous places within their respActive courl buildings
and distribute the Fix the Fixer calling cords 10 the public.

The Anti-Red Tape Law (R.A. 9485) imposes stiff penalties on fixers:imprisonment of as long as six years, or a fine of up to ~ 200,000.00 or both.
