Appearance Does Matter
O The primary objective is to have employees project a professional image while taking advantage of more casual and relaxed fashions
O Casual dress offers a welcome alternative to the formality of typical business attire: however, not all casual clothing is appropriate for the office
O Casual business wear means clean, neat professional clothing. It is never appropriate to wear stained wrinkled, frayed or revealing clothing to the workplace
Employees are expected to present a clean and neat appearance and to dress according to the requirements of their
positions
O Dress for court and DHS/CUA-specific conferences, internal and external trainings, interagency meetings, interviewing job applicants, hosting guests, visiting other agencies and multi-disciplinary meetings is always business attire
*If employees are considering wearing something they are not sure is acceptable, they should choose something else or inquire first
