The unit offers a multi level monitoring platform – including temperature, humidity, door contact, dry contact, smoke, spot leak and rope leak monitoring. The TM4 is capable of video surveillance and monitoring to record human activity, enabling users to detect intrusions. Additional features on the system include integration with our centralised software through appliance level user-defined alerts. The TM4 is the perfect unit to protect your IT assets from environmental threats. The modular TM4 can be used in stand-alone network closets to complete data centres. TM4 is an active system monitoring solution designed to protect against physical threats, environmental or human, that can cause disruption or downtime to your IT infrastructure. This scalable suite of networked appliances, sensors, biometric access controls and cameras is designed to safeguard environments ranging in size from network closets to data centres. The modular design allows for multiple sensors within the TM4 platform and its expansion modules. Optional user-defined alerts can be sent in a variety of formats and are easily integrated into event escalation policies.

TM4 ComponentsTM4 wall sensor moduleThe TM4 wall sensor module can monitor up to 6 universal sensors and up to 10 sensor modules can be connected to the TM4 main appliance. In addition the wall sensor pod comes complete with a built in temperature sensor and an active temperature display.

CameraThe TM4 appliance has four camera ports. A camera module can be connected to each port. The camera ports are Power over Ethernet (POE) enabled and therefore no external power supplies are required for the cameras directly connected to the appliance. A maximum of seven cameras can be connected to the appliance.

Biometric access control module The biometric access control module integrates seamlessly into the TM4 system providing access control to server rooms, patch rooms and UPS rooms. Putting environmental, security and access control into the hands of the IT department responsible for these environments.

Dry contact I/O module48 dry contact cables can be connected to the dry contact I/O module – ideal for the collection of alarms from dry contact alarms of UPSs and generators.

TM4 rack mounted module The TM4 rack sensor module can monitor up to 6 universal sensors and up to 10 sensor modules can be connected to the TM4 main appliance. For convenience this sensor module is suited for installation into a 19” server rack.

Network sensor moduleInstead of a hardwired connection to the TM4, the network sensor modules allow the user to connect to the main appliance via the WAN or LAN network, still allowing for a 6 universal sensor connection, even over long distances.

Wireless sensor moduleA wireless senor module allows for quick expansion and deployment of multiple temperature, humidity and pressure sensors throughout the data centre environment without the need for complex hardware and cabling and connections.

Dry contact cableAlerts are activated by meands of a contact closing/opening.

Temperature sensorAlerts are activated when the temperature threshold is reached.

Humidity sensorAlerts are actviated when the humidity threshold is reached.

Flood sensorThe flood sensor detects potential flood risks in the server room caused by condensation water from air conditioners or burst pipes.

Wireless temperature sensorThe wireless temperature sensor is mainly used for temperature mapping.

Wireless humidity and temperature sensorThe wireless temperature sensor is mainly used for humidity and temperature mapping.

Wireless pressure sensorWireless pressure sensor measures differential pressure.

4-20mA humidity sensorThis unit monitors humidity in server rooms, including high humidity-condensation and low-humidity static.

GSM modemThe GSM modem is the main component in the shipment. (Multitech MTCBA-G2-U-ED or MTC-G3-B08-KIT)
