Polish Presidency in the European Union Council
01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamic, positive energy, and solidarity are the values represented by the logo. It presents Poland as modern and young in spirit country that initiates the positive changes in Europe.
The author of the logo is Jerzy Janiszewski – the author of the widely known logo „Solidarność” which represents the polish way to freedom and democratic changes in this part of the world.

• Numerous art project of Polish Institutes in 22 cities of Europe and USA and hundreds of projects on public and cultural diplomacy organized by over 100 diplomatic missions of Republic of Poland on all continents.
Polish presidency is a great opportunity to promote polish cuisine. One of the most outstanding polish chefs, Adam Chrząstowski, coordinates the formation of exquisite menu with polish dishes based on local products that will be served during various summits in Poland and Brussels.
The foreign delagates and journalists visiting Poland during the Presidency will receive the bundle of polish innovative recipes created by 16 chefs, 3 from abroad, working in best polish restaurants. The starting point for all recipes are characteristic polish products (eg. herring, cucumber, groats, poppy, game dishes). Every recipe is preceded by the product description adequate to the visitors’ cultural background.
The publication is liven up by illustrations.
