Many useful details forhigh efficiency. With its practical 160° obstruction avoidance angle and 20° raised jib working position, the 13 HMhas decisive practical benefits. Other details that contribute to efficiency are the frequency-controlledslewing gear, the standard rotary power connector and the reliable drive assemblies. The tight-welded folding tower is an additional guarantee of exceptionally long operating life.

Integrated tandem axle for maximum mobility. The 13 HM is designed for maximum mobility. Its air-sprung tandem axle is an integral part of thecrane and is equipped with ABS. The crane can be towed either with a drawbar or a fifth-wheelmount. Other plus factors for mobility are transport with full ballast and the jib folding device for verylow transport heights.

Pneumatic transfer to spindles, easy one-person erecting. The 13 HM mobile fast-erecting crane is fitted with a new type of pneumatic lifting and loweringsystem. The crane can be raised or lowered pneumatically by up to 190 mm and thus set up on itsspindles without difficulty. Easy handling is also ensured by the variable-height supports and theprecision-action spindles. The 13 HM is then erected with the proven hydraulic kinematics commonto all H series cranes. The entire erecting process can be performed in the shortest possible time byone person.
