The f i r s t r e sea rch , con- ducted between January 1968 and March 1969, was supported by a pre- d o c t o r a l fe l lowship and t r a i n i n g g r a n t from t h e United S t a t e s Nat iona l I n s t i t u t e of Mental Health.
