Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all
men.
Tit 2:12 It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions,
and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
Tit 2:13 while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of
our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we
shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself,
even as he is pure.
The coming of the Lord is called the Blessed Hope. It is vitally
important that we not lose this hope because the Bible says those that
have this hope will live pure lives.
There are many who have lost this hope by listening to scoffers.
2Pe 3:3 (AMP) To begin with, you must know and understand this, that
scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people
who] walk after their own fleshly desires
2Pe 3:4 And say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the
forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did
from the beginning of creation.
There are many who have lost this hope by listening to scoffers.
2Pe 3:3 (AMP) To begin with, you must know and understand this, that
scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people

2Pe 3:4 And say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the
forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did
from the beginning of creation.
2Pe 3:5 For they willfully overlook and forget this [fact], that the
heavens [came into] existence long ago by the word of God, and the
earth also which was formed out of water and by means of water,
2Pe 3:6 Through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with
water and perished. [Gen. 1:6-8; 7:11.]
2Pe 3:7 But by the same word the present heavens and earth have
been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the day of judgment
and destruction of the ungodly people.
There are many who have lost this hope by listening to scoffers.

earth also which was formed out of water and by means of water,
2Pe 3:6 Through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with

2Pe 3:7 But by the same word the present heavens and earth have
been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the day of judgment
and destruction of the ungodly people.
2Pe 3:8 Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved,
that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years
as one day. [Ps. 90:4.]
2Pe 3:9 The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what
He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but
He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring
that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the
heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the
[material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the
earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Since all these things are thus in the process of being
dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the
meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly
qualities,
2Pe 3:12 While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the
coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will
be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare
and melt with fire? [Isa. 34:4.]
We should not listen to naysayers and scoffers who mock the Word of
God. The Bible promises a crown to every believer that loves and
awaits Jesus' return.
2Ti 4:8 (AMP) [As to what remains] henceforth there is laid up for me
the [victor's] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and
doing right], which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me and
recompense me on that [great] day--and not to me only, but also to all
those who have loved and yearned for and welcomed His appearing
(His return).
Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that
no man take thy crown.
Luk 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, (Vision of Peace)
whose name was Simeon; (that hears or obeys that is heard) and the
same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation (comfort)
of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
Luk 2:26 And it was revealed (divinely intimate) unto him by the Holy
Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's
Christ.
Concerning the coming of the Lord the Holy Ghost illuminated this
scripture to me in the late 80s and said this is for you and this
generation.
There has been much confusion in the Body of Christ
concerning the “Rapture of the Church. One reason is many
tried to understand what was yet sealed in their time.
Dan 12:4 (AMP) But you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book
until the time of the end. [Then] many shall run to and fro and search
anxiously [through the Book], and knowledge [of God's purposes as
revealed by His prophets] shall be increased and become great. [Amos
8:12.]
Dan 12:8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord,
what shall be the end of these things?
Dan 12:9 And he [the angel] said, Go your way, Daniel, for the words
are shut up and sealed till the time of the end.
Another reason there has been much confusion is many that have tried
to do what God has plainly said in his word they cannot do.
Mar 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the
angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the
time is.

There also has been much disagreement in the Body of Christ
concerning the timing of the “Rapture of the Church & whether the
Church will experience any of the “tribulation.” Three schools of
thought have developed.
With so many failed predictions & differing Ideas about the rapture is
there any way to absolutely know we have entered the time zone of the
Coming of Christ & does the Bible teach us the sequence of event s of
the Rapture of the church? Yes! And Yes! The prophet Isaiah
prophesied Israel would be a nation again!
Isa 66:8 Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such
things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a
moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her
children.
Israel in Scripture is symbolized by a fig tree. In Matthew Chapter 24
Jesus gives us a prophetic clue that all the future events described in
Matthew 24 will happen in the time frame after Israel becomes a
nation.
Mat 24:32 From the fig tree learn this lesson: as soon as its young
shoots become soft and tender and it puts out its leaves, you know of a
surety that summer is near.
Mat 24:33 So also when you see these signs, all taken together,
coming to pass, you may know of a surety that He is near, at the very
doors.
Mat 24:34 Truly I tell you, this generation (the whole multitude of
people living at the same time, in a definite, given period) will not pass
away till all these things taken together take place.
The Bible prophesies in the last days that the antichrist will enter the
rebuilt Jewish temple and desecrate it. You can’t enter a temple if you
don’t have the Land where its supposed to be built.
Dan 9:27 And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the
many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall
cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and
one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall
come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured
out on the desolator.
The word “Rapture” does not occur in the Holy Bible. It is used to
denote the coming of the Lord to suddenly “catch up” the church from
the earth to be united with the Lord “in the air.” The Book of
1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 13 through 18 describes this
Blessed event.
1Th 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have
no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so
them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the
dead in Christ shall rise first:

It is commonly taught that we are going to be surprised when Jesus
returns. While this is true for the unbelievers it is not supposed to be
that way for believers.
1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need
that I write unto you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so
cometh as a thief in the night.
1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden
destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child;
and they shall not escape.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief.

1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we
are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and
be sober.
1Th 5:7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be
drunken are drunken in the night.
1Th 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation
by our Lord Jesus Christ,
To truly understand the “Rapture of the Church” we must
understand that the Bible prophesies of 7 final years of God’s
dealings with Israel which will involve the whole earth known
as the week of Jacobs trouble. We must also understand the
difference between Gods wrath & satans wrath.
Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the
time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince
which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time
of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that
same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one
that shall be found written in the book.
Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall
awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting
contempt.
Dan 9:25 Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of
the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until [the
coming of] the Anointed One, a Prince, shall be seven weeks [of
years] and sixty-two weeks [of years]; it shall be built again with
[city] square and moat, but in troublous times.
Dan 9:26 And after the sixty-two weeks [of years] shall the Anointed

buried on Passover. (Easter)

The Book of Daniel prophesies 1 more week of Gods dealings with
Israel known as Daniels 70th
week.
Some teach that this 70th
week is 7 years of Gods wrath and the 1
thessolians 5:9 says were are not appointed unto wrath. So we could
not possibly be here for the 7 years.
1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation
by our Lord Jesus Christ,
The Bible teaches us that most of the 7 years of Jacobs trouble is
satans wrath not Gods. Gods wrath is not poured out until the 7th
and
last trumpet mentioned in the Bible.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called
the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out
into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.
Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come
down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath
but a short time.
The apostle Paul wrote of the Rapture in the Book of 1 Corinthians
15:51.
1Co 15:51 Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event
decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall
asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed)
1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of
the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ]
will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall
be changed (transformed).
After the Rapture of the Church at the sounding of the 7th
trumpet of
Revelation the Gods wrath is poured out.
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices
in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the
kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and
ever.

their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God,

them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them
which destroy the earth.
To truly understand the “rapture of the Church at the coming of the
Lord” we must understand what both Jesus said & Paul said about this
rebuilt Jewish temple and an event know as “the abomination that
makes desolate.” This is the event that starts the Great tribulation.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the
world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:)
Mat 24:16 Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:
Antiochus Epiphanes
In 167 B.C. on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Kislev, (November-
December) Antiochus Epiphanes attacked Jerusalem on the Sabbath
and then executed many Jews. Raging like a wild animal, he set out
from Egypt and took Jerusalem by storm.

December) Antiochus Epiphanes attacked Jerusalem on the Sabbath
and then executed many Jews. Raging like a wild animal, he set out

He ordered his soldiers to cut down without mercy those whom they
met and to slay those who took refuge in their houses. There was a
massacre of young and old, a killing of women and children, a
slaughter of virgins and infants. In the space of three days, eighty
thousand were lost, forty thousand meeting a violent death, and the
same number being sold into slavery.

Antiochus Epiphanes entered into the Jewish temple and erected a
pagan altar on the Great alter of burnt sacrifices, The altar was
dedicated to the pagan god Zeus of Olympus. On the 25th day of
Kislev, the first sacrifice, a pig, was offered on the altar. The pig is an
unclean animal to the Jews. Both the pagan altar erected in the temple
and the sacrifice of a pig was an abomination that made desolate the
Temple.
What happened to the Jews then is a prophetic picture of what
is about to happen in our day. Jesus said…..

the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Going back to Matthew 24 lets see what Jesus had to say about
our gathering together to him or the rapture of the Church.
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the
sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars
shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in
heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they
shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power
and great glory.

of heaven, but my Father only.

our gathering together to him or the rapture of the Church.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of
the Son of man be.

eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that
Noah entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
