Parent Forums

Parent Forums are taking place next week. These are attended by Year Leaders, Primary Leadership and the Campus Principal and Deputy Head of Pastoral if they are available. Parent Forums are intended as a positive interchange about learning in TIS Primary. If you have very personal questions these should be raised to Year Leaders or Head of School personally.

Challenge Maths – Challenge Maths Puzzle is to be completed at home. A member of the family can

help! If the children print and complete it, and return a correct answer on Monday morning they can earn 3

house points.

Year 9 IGCSE Options This week Year 9 have been experiencing what life will be like in Year 10 and 11. They have had IGCSE lessons to help with their subject selections for next year. This is an important time for Year 9 as they decide which subjects they wish to pursue in the next stage of their education. In order to provide further information and guidance there is an options evening for parents and students on Thursday 02.03.2017. This is taking place in the MPH from 17:00hrs to 18:30 hours. This is opportunity to speak to teachers about the individual subjects and there will be a short presentation by Mr Jeff Ison detailing the process. For information about the options process please refer to the Options Booklet which has been published as a document on Parent Portal or contact Mr Jeff Ison at jeffrey.ison@tenby.edu.my We look forward to seeing as many parents as possible next week.

International Competitions & Assessments for Schools (ICAS) 2017

Tenby Schools is holding a few international competitions and assessments for 2017. The

International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is produced by the

Educational Assessment Australia (EAA) from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

Our school will be observing only one closing date in administrating all competition events.

The closing date for all competitions has been extended to Friday 3rd March 2017. If your

child is interested in participating in the competitions, please fill up the registration slip and

make payment at the Admissions Office.
