Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers will play their second Central Division opponent this season in the Milwaukee Bucks. The last time these two teams met, Antawn Jamison recorded a double-double (12 points and 12 rebounds) and Mo Williams put up 21 points and seven assists as the Cavs defeated the Bucks 101-98 at Quicken Loans Arena on March 31, 2010. Cleveland trails the all-time series 103-76, but has won five straight contests against the Bucks at The Q, where they are 23-8 against them.

The Cavaliers have been getting a bulk of their scoring from the bench this season, as their reserves are averaging an NBA-high 46.1 points per game. Antawn Jamison was strong off the bench over the six games played from Nov. 9-20 with averages of 15.0 points and 7.7 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game. He is also shooting 10-23 (.435) from long distance over that span. Last Friday against the Hornets, Jamison joined Scottie Pippen and Dirk Nowitzki as the only players in NBA history to tally 17,000 points, 7,000 rebounds and 900 three-pointers made.

Milwaukee is one of the NBA’s best defensive teams, limiting opponents to just 91.4 points per game. The Bucks are also grabbing 44.6 rebounds per game this season, which is fourth-best in the NBA. The team is led by second-year point guard Brandon Jennings, who is averaging 17.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. The Cavs and Bucks will meet again at Quicken Loans Arena on Jan. 21st for the second of four matchups this season.
