Persiapan produksi
Dye based ink, melarutkan sejumlah dye dalam air, dan diikuti cosolvent, humectant sampai sampai bahan terakhir. Bila perlu temperatur naik maka berikan pemanasan.
Pigment based ink, pigment tidak dapat larut dalam air, dilakukan dengan dispersi dan mixing pigmen dengan high speed dispersing, homogenising dan milling ( ball mill, sand mill, roll mill, agitator mill, henshell mixer, colloid mill) sampai terbentuk dispersi pigmen yang homogen dalam air.
