Dear all students, parents, teachers & partners all over the world

Welcome to join Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad 2018 - 2019. For

the year 2018 - 2019, we have 16 countries to join the final round. We have Team

from Australia, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India,

Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Ukraine &

Philippines all over the world.

For this year, we have to send our sincere thanks to the following partners at

Phuket: Tourism Authority of Thailand, HeadStart International School Phuket,

Background Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad, TIMO is organized by Olympiad Champion

Education Centre from Hong Kong, co-operated UNIQUELY with Tourism Authority of Thailand

to promote Tourism in Thailand. The characteristic of TIMO is the integration between Creative

Tourism and International Mathematical Olympiad. To bring oversea guests to travel around

Thailand, with the strong support from Tourism Authority of Thailand, TIMO can serve students

and guests with the best service.

Undoubtedly, TIMO is the FIRST and currently the only one International Mathematical

Olympiad competition to provide MOCK EXAM before the final round exam. In order to warm up

candidates to achieve the best result in the final round exam, throughout after Mock Exam, TIMO

offers the most valuable opportunity for students to exchange their learning experience on learning

Mathematical Olympiad. TIMO Team is welcomed all candidates to ask any constructive questions

about Mock Exam to be taught in a smart thinking way.

Sharing skills with TIMO student helpers Even parents are involved to teach their child

Major Mathematical Olympiad competitions only focus 0.1% of elite Mathematics students.

TIMO provides a Mathematics platform for ALL students with strong interests in Mathematics to

participate. Different from other Mathematical Olympiad competition, the examination consists of

standardized topics such as Logical Thinking, Arithmetic / Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry and

Combinatorics. To stimulate and foster young people’s interest in learning mathematics, to

strengthen the ability of their creative thinking, to widen their international perspective, and to

promote the development of kindergarten, primary and secondary education and exchange of

educational cultures throughout countries.

through education. The objective for running

President Prize is to help elite students whose family

financial in need to join International Mathematical

Olympiad Competitions such as TIMO & HKIMO.

To ensure transparency and sustainability,

President prize is managed by Olympiad Champion

Education Foundation and governed by an

independent team of professional & voluntary

lawyers & accountants with an endowment of HK$8

million (US$1 million) with an annual return of 5%.

Through a series of initiatives, the prize serves to establish a platform that allows the global
