We leave the cabin early to cross the lake and walk in the bush

towards the Salamander home. We know that a perfect stream is located at the border with Maine.

After 3 hours we reach the spot!

While we search for salamanders, we first find a crayfish, then a tiny toad

plus a big one.

But still no evidence of the rare SALAMANDER ?

Then, under a rock, Youppi! Here is the Northern Dusky

Salamander.

Finally, let’s go back to…

... to catch a

Fish!
