What is TigerTurf grass made from? TigerTurf synthetic grass is made from durable polypropylene or polyethylene yarn.

How long will TigerTurf last? Under normal use (light to moderate traffic), TigerTurf synthetic grass can be expected to last 15-20 years. TigerTurf synthetic grass comes with a no fuss, 7 year product only warranty*.

Does TigerTurf grass fade? TigerTurf is UV stabilised to minimise fading and deterioration.

What about dogs? TigerTurf is pet friendly. Our synthetic grass is designed to drain even under the heaviest rainfall, doesn’t stain; and any mess can be scooped up and cleaned easily.

What about life’s little accidents? Synthetic grass is very resistant to staining. Spills can be cleaned easily. Damage to the grass can be repaired, in a similar method to repairing carpet.

How do I install TigerTurf grass? Installation of a perfect grassed area is naturally dependent on the quality of workmanship during all stages of the process. We recommend that TigerTurf be installed by qualified contractors to ensure the best result, however an installation guide is available on request.

What goes underneath the grass? The grass must be laid on a suitably prepared base such as compacted metal, concrete or wooden deck. The base will depend on soil type and final usage. The grass is then “in-filled” with a combination of sand and/ or granular rubber for the most natural look and feel, and to secure the grass in place.

TigerTurf synthetic grass is made from either polypropylene or polyethylene yarn. These materials are durable, resistant to staining, are UV stabilised and the most suitable materials for synthetic grass use. The grass is tufted into a rubber-backed polypropylene mat for added durability.

TigerTurf and the environment Through ongoing research and development TigerTurf monitors materials used to find more efficient manufacturing and installation methods, as well as being involved in research projects looking closely at recycling old “Astroturf” and developing 100% recyclable products for the future.
