the day like it normally does, a
0455. We hit the wall or morn
accountability and were told we
had ive minutes to get dressed
We hustled outside into the coo
darkness and got ormed up ormorning run. It was immediat
obvious that things were diere
this day, and that we werent do
our normal P.

began to run around base. hi
run was unusual because we m

even know existed. At each locwe were taught about the histor

I am 28 years old, and have been happily
married or ve years. I graduated rom
he University o Wyoming with a B.S. in
Mathematics. Prior to joining the Air Force,
I worked as an Inormation echnology
Specialist or the Wyoming Legislature
Service Oce. I was selected as a pilot
trainee and look orward to learning where I
will be attending ight training.
For Flight 3-12 I act as the Computer
Leader. I enjoy this duty as it allows me
to use my work experience to help theight. Recently I learned that I would be
the Assistant Lower Flight Commander

sAfer a brie respite over the weekend,
members o Flight 3-12, and the entire BO11-05 class, began the second part o theircombatives training. Te training ran romuesday through Tursday, with each daybringing new challenges and ghting maneuversor the Os to learn. During Combatives III Oslearned moves such as the baseball bat escape,the straight arm bar rom the guard, andgrappling or submission. During CombativesIV Os expanded their repertoire o moves toinclude new submissions, chokes and grapplingmaneuvers. On the nal day, Combatives V,members reviewed the previous three days drills,and learned the triangle choke, guillotinechoke, and grappling or submission.
