TIFF gratefully acknowledges the support of:

WELCOME!Between April 8 and 21 this year, TIFF Bell Lightbox will be taken over by our youngest audiences for the TIFF Kids International Film Festival™. With more than 112 films from over 31 countries, the TIFF Kids Festival brings the best in family cinema to Toronto, along with an exciting lineup of filmmakers, guests, and interactive activities.

The TIFF Kids Festival is dedicated to engaging our young audiences through Q&As with directors, actors, and guests; the Jump Cuts® Young Filmmaker Showcase; the TIFF Kids Festival Young People’s Juries; and other on-site activities. We want kids to walk away from TIFF Bell Lightbox feeling inspired and empowered, and we want to spark a lifelong love affair with film.

This year’s lineup is nothing short of spectacular. We have something for everyone: animated and live-action adventure, drama, comedy, documentary, and some of the best short films you’ll ever see.

Our award-winning interactive exhibition, digiPlaySpace™, is also back for its third year, and it’s bigger than ever! Filled with fun, innovative installations, learning-centric games, mobile apps, and activities, digiPlaySpace encourages kids and parents to explore new-media technologies and discover new ways of storytelling.

The TIFF Kids Festival is so much more than a day at the movies. We hope everyone will join us for an action-packed 2014 festival!

I Am MeCelebrating differences among friends and family can teach us about new cultures, traditions and ways of life, but unfortunately there are some who are reluctant to accept the unfamiliar. In this collection of short films, the protagonists demonstrate that even in the face of bullying or inequity, accepting yourself is the most important thing.

This programme includes films from Japan, Australia, Italy, The Netherlands, the USA, and Canada.
