Demand for apartments in the North Phoenix Submarkethas consistently outpaced new supply, keeping vacanciestight. Low vacancies have fueled rent growth. Renters areattracted to the submarket’s affordability, proximity to majoremployers, and accessibility via the I- 17 and PiestewaFreeway.

Roughly one-quarter of residents fall into the prime rentingcohort of 20–34-year-olds. About half of households inNorth Phoenix are renters, compared to just 40% in themetro.
