The Events:

Instruments of Art at Decorum Furniture (February 11, 2017): Works of original art and

other gifts and collectibles are auctioned off in a themed special event. Social media

interest in thousands of direct hits, shares and responses; 300 people in attendance.

Sea Level Singer/Songwriter Festival (April 1, 2017): Now in its 9th year, the only singer/

songwriter Festival in the Mid-Atlantic. Features an Emerging Artists songwriting

competition, an award-winning national headline concert, street events and ancillary

concerts by local artists. 1,000 plus in attendance; thousands more involved virtually

through our media pages and our custom guitar raffle.

Golf Tournament (October 12, 2016): Now in its 12th year, approx. two dozen teams tee

off at 12:30 and enjoy a fun day on the greens to benefit TAO. A very successful annual

event. Our 2016 tournament will be held at VB National Golf Course.

TAO Training Workshops (ongoing): Artists and caregivers attend to learn state-of-the-field

practices and earn CEUs for accreditation. Workshops take place throughout Hampton

Roads, at locations including Lake Taylor Hospital, Sentara VB General Hospital, Riverside

PACE Newport News, The Memory Center and WHRO.

TAO Outreach Programs (ongoing): Hundreds of programs annually in more than 60
