MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

TICOM’s specializes in telecommunication system design in the areas of Network Planning and Technical Consulting, Communication Network En-gineering for Wireline and Wireless Systems.

Our clients benefit from a single point of management responsibility for planning, design management, and operational services. TICOM will man-age the project to ensure orderly and timely completion, monitoring of implementation, resolution of outstanding issues, review and analysis of claims or disputed issues, and address training requirements. Our ser-vices include documentation of progress, schedule reviews and updates, handling submittals and requests for information, review of pay requests, and maintenance of project correspondence.

TICOM will review construction progress, ensure compliance with specifi-cations and plans, and review safety and housekeeping issues. TICOM will provide negotiation and coordination of change orders with the con-tractors, determination of responsibility for changed conditions or coordi-nation conflict, review of price and schedule changes, and certify the Sub-stantial Completion and Final Acceptance on behalf of the Owner.

Outside Plant Engineering

TICOM has experience in all aspects of outside plant engineering, and management services for a total turn-key operation. Our complete pro-ject management approach includes route feasibility and cost studies, field engineering and mapping services incorporating aerial, buried and underground facilities, preparation of plans, specifications and Request for Proposals, bid processing and bid evaluations, contract preparation, permitting and Right-of-way acquisitions, construction management sup-port, construction inspection services, and final as-built documentation post-construction.

Network Planning and Technical Consulting

TICOM combines the expertise and technical resources of the telecom-munications industry locally and globally in defining a strategic network plan and design by integrating all aspects of our clients’ project objec-tives and requirements. TICOM utilizes a comprehensive methodology that includes system design review and assistance, maximization of ex-isting invested infrastructure, verification assistance, and a deployment plan review.

Network Engineering

TICOM’s network design process incorporates extensive knowledge and experience along with best practices of the telecom industry in the net-work design for both wireline and wireless systems. TICOM’s design in-corporates the use of leading edge and advanced technologies to help our clients make the best investment decisions within the constraints of capi-tal and operations and maintenance budgets. TICOM’s design services include transport fiber facilities, fiber to the premise, home and business, softswitch evaluation, selection and implementation, core and access net-work equipment specification development, and final assessment of Ac-ceptance Test Plan.

This study will provide a detailed pro forma financial projection model for our clients telecommunication system that includes estimates of capital investments, annual expenses, operational costs, profits, and losses.

Infrastructure Appraisals

TICOM will work with you to gather infrastructure investment records from your existing provider, and complete a physical inventory of plant and equipment in place today. We will review this information to com-plete an appraisal of this property, and its remaining useful life.

Business Development

A Business Plan will be created that defines your telecommunication business development goals. The Plan will include details of the busi-ness structure and operations, financial statements, and a financial anal-ysis.

Technical Assessments

TICOM will conduct a telecommunication needs assessment of govern-ment, business, healthcare, education, and residential entities that make up your community.
