Tiara soapsCoz chemicals can make plastics .not beautiful skin .

Introduction to our business planPure and mild natural soaps are handmade in the old world tradition with certified organic vegetable oils, wild and organic herbs, and only pure essential oils. Why? Because organic soap matters! What we put on our skin matters. What we dump on our earth matters. What we leave behind for our children and grandchildren...matters. In addition to leaving your skin feeling perfectly cleansed and ultra moisturized, our handmade natural soap leaves you with a clear conscience too. Sure, you can find cheaper handmade soap, even prettier soap, but our discriminating customers tell us they haven't found any better natural soap.

Tiara cooperative will be a cooperative society involved in manufacturing of natural beauty soaps. It will be primarily a cottage industry , but urban by its origin. It will be considered as one of the most remarkable entrepreneurial initiatives that will be identified as female empowerment in India . It will be known as an Institution trying to help women partially or fully for employment.

Brief summary of the plan Tiara the leading soap manufacturing company has its roots from a co-operative society formed by thirteen opportunity seekers who were striving to open their own company so as to fulfil their aspirations, thus a co-operative was established for the purpose of allowing its owners to carry onbusiness on a mutual basis. It is a cooperative incorporated under the Cooperative Societies Act 1912 that applies for registration and in order to operate as a co-operative.

Feasibility StudiesThefeasibility studyis an evaluation and analysis of the potential of a proposed project which is based on extensive investigation and research to support the process of decision making.

A feasibility study evaluates the project's potential for success; therefore, perceived objectivity is an important factor in the credibility of the study for potential investors and lending institutions. It must therefore be conducted with an objective, unbiased approach to provide information upon which decisions can be based.

In its simplest terms, the two criteria to judge feasibility arecostrequired andvalueto be attained.

But feasibility can be judged on various criteria as follows:

Environmental feasibilityFinancial feasibilitySocial feasibilityEconomical feasibilityTechnical feasibility

It is a fact that external environment exerts considerable influence on the organizations. In fact the climatic conditions in a particular area/region have a significant impact on the existence of an enterprise. Therefore, it is necessary to ascertain the environmental viability as well.Environmental feasibility

In this more eco-friendly and environmentally aware time and age of ours, it is fairly simple to find "green" aspects of most company's manufacturing processes. Not only are people growing more conscious of the impact of their actions on the environment, but being green has also become the trendy thing to do.

However, it is rather unusual to find a product that is completely green, through and through. Because of its originality and devotion to being an all around green cooperative company, Tiara cooperativeis one company that really deserves more media attention.

Not only the products are green , but so are the manufacturing and packaging processes as well

Financial feasibilityFinancial feasibilityrefers to a study conducted with regards to a project in order to determine if it is viable; after careful assessment of its total costs and revenues. For a project to be considered feasible, the revenue should be more than the cost. Companies often conduct a financial feasibility test before starting a project to determine if the good is financially feasible.

BASED ON SURVEY AMONG OUR GROUP MEMBERS AND A FEW OTHERS, WE CONCLUDED THAT THERE WAS A NEED FOR A NATURAL ORGANIC SOAP WHICH A COMMON MIDDLE INCOME GROUP FAMILY COULD AFFORD.

THUS, TIARA COOPERATIVES DECIDED TO STEP INTO THIS MARKET AND SET A PRICE OF AROUND 25-30 RUPEES WHEREIN IT CAN COVER ITS COST AND EVEN EARN PROFITS.

THE HOT PROCESS

PROCEDURE OF MAKING SOAP Step-1 Getting started-lye and hard oils

Make yourlye solutionand then weigh out your hard oils and set them to melting, on the stove top. (FIRE)

24

Step-2

Melting , Measuring and Mixing the oils

If your crock pot will allow, just put the pot part on the scale and weigh the liquid oils directly into it.Let the melted hard oils cool a bit (to 160 or so) and then add them to the liquid oils.

Step-4Blending the soap to trace

Add your lye solution into the melted oils and blend it as you normally would. The soap will lighten in color quite a bit as it is coming totrace.

Step-5Starting to cook the soaponce the soap has come totrace, turn the crock pot on low and put the lid on. You dont want a lot of water escaping, so be sure to keep the lid on it!

Step-6First check in on the soap cookingSet the timer for 15 minutes. Once 15 minutes have elapsed, check on the soap. Here you can see it has thickened up considerably a thick pudding-like consistency. Put the lid back on and set the timer for another 15 minutes. After the first 15 minutes, the soap was at 110.After 30 minutes it had risen to 135.

Step-7Soap beginning to go into gel stage

How hot your crock pot cooks on low will determine how quickly things will go.Keep checking every 15 minutes or so and stirring the soap to make sure it is heating evenly. What youre looking for is a darkening around the edges of the soap. It will look more liquid and oily too. This is the soap beginning to be cooked into agel stage. Once you see this darkening, the cooking process has started.

Step-8Stir and keep cooking

What you'll have in the batch is a mix of soap in and not in gel stage. Stir the gel stage soap back into the rest of the soap. You want all of the soap to cook evenly. Keep checking on the soap every 15 minutes and stir the batch again.By now, about 45
