Overview T&I Consultancy is a retained executive search firm in Azerbaijan, founded in March 2015 byIlham Hajiyev, an executive search consultant with extensive international experience. During hisinitial eight years executive search career at Pedersen & Partners (2007 – 2015) Ilham conductedover 150 mid and senior level search projects in 13 countries.
T&I Consultancy provides high quality talent management consultancy services to multinationalcompanies operating across diverse industries in mainly Azerbaijan, Iran and CIS (Caucasus &Central Asia), but also in Turkey and other regions that might have critical and highlyconfidential senior management recruitment needs .

The core executive search expertise of T&I Consultancy is based upon the firm’s Founder andManaging Director, Ilham Hajiyev, who brings, overall, almost ten years of retained executive searchexperience running previously the Baku office of Pedersen & Partners, a leading internationalexecutive search firm. As Country Manager, Azerbaijan, and Head of Caucasus and Iran, Ilhamdeveloped Pedersen & Partners into a major talent management consultancy firm in this region.Ilham was in charge of Georgia (since 2008) and Iran (since 2010).
By today Ilham conducted over 200 mid and senior level search assignments (General Manager,Vice-President, CxO, Regional Director, Business Unit Director, Country Manager, PlantManager, Heads of Department for different business functions: Finance, Accounting, HR,Sales (Retail, Corporate, B2B), Sales & Marketing, Marketing, Trade Marketing,Distribution, PR, Protocol, Government Relations, IT, Technology, Supply Chain,Procurement, Operations, Production, Law, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management,Business Development, Key Account Management, Project Management, Ethics &Compliance, Investment, Trade Finance) in the following 13 countries:

TeamIlham Hajiyev is a Founder and Managing Director of T&I Consultancy. He hasmore than 20 years of diversified business management experience. In 1992, hestarted his professional career as a Country Representative of the US oil company,Hallwood Energy. Later, for more than ten years, he was the Founder and GeneralManager of a construction & real estate company that provided various propertymanagement solutions (construction, renovation, design, project management,maintenance, leasing, market research, evaluation services) to internationalbusiness and diplomatic communities in Baku. In 2007-2015, as Country Manager,Azerbaijan, Ilham built and developed from scratch Pedersen & Partners’ operationsin Baku and the region.
Ilham Hajiyev has a Master’s Degree in Finance from École Supérieure de Gestion inParis, France and a Master’s Degree in Legal Regulation of Economics from WesternUniversity in Baku, Azerbaijan. His BA degree is in English Language from theAzerbaijan State University of Languages.
In addition to his native Azerbaijani and Russian, Ilham speaks fluent English,advanced French and Italian. He masters conversational Turkish and Persian, andhas an intermediate level comprehension of written Spanish and German.
TeamLeyla Abdullayeva is a Research Associate at T&I Consultancy. She is a graduate ofSociology department from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Herprevious experiences involve internships in SOCAR-AQS, Moody International,Coca-Cola Bottlers and McDermott Caspian Contractors. Moreover, Leyla alsoworked with several international youth organizations like Bloomberg Institute andAIESEC in Ankara. Leyla is also a contributing writer for international youthplatform Elite Daily.
In addition to her native Azeri, Leyla speaks fluent English, Turkish and Russian.
TeamNazrin Jabbarli is a Research Associate at T&I Consultancy. She graduated fromAzerbaijan State University of Languages with Bachelor degree in Translation. Herinterest in community development has led her to a number of volunteeropportunities and leadership roles in AIESEC in Azerbaijan, international youthorganization, where she is still active. Furthermore Nazrin was involved in eventmanagement working for BEGOC, European Games, in 2015. In addition to hercurrent duties as a Research Associate, she also provides afterschool tutoring andencourages literacy in youth.
Along with her native Azeri and Russian, Nazrin is fluent in English and Turkishlanguages.
TeamLiliya Zakareyshvili is a Research Associate at T&I Consultancy. She graduatedfrom Azerbaijan State University of Languages with Bachelor degree in English.Currently, she is doing her Master degree in Business Administration in AzerbaijanState University of Economics. Previously, in 2015 during the European Games,Liliya worked shortly in Event Management at BEGOC.
In addition to her native Russian, Liliya speaks fluent English, intermediateGeorgian and Azerbaijani, and is currently studying Spanish.
